Well, this one deserves a story. The Teafairy Monkeyfist fire poi started as a custom build for... you guessed it... Tea Fairy. You see, we never offered Monkey Fist knotted poi out of respect for Eric Bagai who introduced them to the fire world (it's considered bad form to outright steal other people's designs). After he admitted that he borrowed the design from the nautical world, the veil of impropriety was lifted. So, when Tea Fairy asked for them, we complied.

After the Tea fairy appeared with them on a You Tube video, we received numerous requests for them. So, with our hat tipped to both Eric and the assorted folks who "stole" his design, we offer the Bearclaw version.

Our chains are the standard 4-in-1 kevlar grips, and high-strength ball chain found in our other offerings. The wicks are a 4-bite rope wrapped around a wood core and held with the same hardware as our cathedral fold wicks. Total size about 3".

Sold in pairs, your choice of length.

Because different wicks have different heights, and chains have different types of connectors, we do not accept "chain length" for poi lengths. All poi measurements should be from the hand to the bottom of the wick. If you don't currently have poi, or aren't sure if they're the right size for you, just measure from wrist to armpit.
