The lightweight countach fire fan was intended as an economy model. But we designed from the ground up to be easier to build without sacrificing beauty or quality. This is a "static" fan, so it doesn't open or close. The body, however, is a sturdy brass construct that's just light enough for gun spinning and fast motion. The decorative loops at the bottom make it easy to grip and spin. And the wick attachments 13" away meet the strictest interpretation of NAFAA tool building standards.

The wicks are 2 feet of our standard 5/8" Kevlar rope for durability. This gives them long burn times on almost any fuel. These make perfect starter fans. For larger flames, or better burn on alcohol-based fuels, try our Countach Fire Fans.

Like all our fans, these have rigorous attachment for the wicks, solid, attractive brass body and a spin loop. They're just designed to be quicker and simpler to build. New! Dec '09. Because of the availablity of reliable sources, we are changing our fans in a way we've wanted to for some time. New screws will allow owners to tighten their wicks with simple tools and to change wicks much easier. Available in new models only, no retrofit available.
